In case you missed Rosemount Fashion Week 2011 last week, here are some gorgeous catwalk pictures from the Guanabana show which we love, love, love…..
I think this may easily be our favourite Guanabana collection to date! The beautiful sheer fabrics, draping, embellishments and prints, all combined to bring a cohesive and stand-out collection. The albino snake also certainly attracted some attention!
Congratulations to Linda Bergskas & the Guanabana team on such an amazing collection, we cannot wait until it hits the stores!
More information about the collection…..
Casablanca
Inspired by North Africa’s exotic and vibrant landscape, the collection conjures up daydreams of a journey desert-crossing in a camel caravan, marvelling at quintessential Moroccan ancient walled cities and mud-walled kasbahs shaded by tall date palms.
Colour is never shy in Guanabana collections and this season offers a vibrant collision between bold pinks, calypso oranges, tropical turquoise and greens. More earthy tones and metallic accents are inspired by the way the pulsating afternoon sun glistens on endless sands of the Sahara desert. Exclusive prints are abstracted from Moorish architecture, tiles and textiles.
The range features many stand out pieces which can be worn from day through to night, including wide legged pants and jumpsuits, sheer panelling, safari-esque shorts and jackets, bodysuits, maxi dresses, sexy mini dresses all in luxurious fabrics and with lavish embellishments.
Do you love this collection as much as we do? Tell us what you think…….
